Jesus is the reason for the season!

ADVENT PRAYER

Father in heaven,

our hearts desire the warmth of your love,

and our minds are searching for the light of your Word.

Increase our longing for Christ our Savior,

and give us the strength to grow in charity.

Shine your light on all our choices this day.

Create in us the ability to let your light shine forth for others,

and help us in all we do and say, to long always for the coming of Christ our Saviour.

We ask this, through Christ our Lord, Amen.
