Year 11 Annual Youth Theatre Festival
In June, just prior to the recent holidays, our Year 11 Drama class participated in the Annual Youth Theatre Festival.
BMGS is the only school to have participated in this Festival every successive year through its various iterations, which I believe to be 23 years, during which time our School students have built an enviable reputation for the quality, originality and professional items they create and perform at this Festival.
The students worked with professional director Aslam Abdus-samad to create a beautifully evocative physical theatre performance titled, 'The World Ended and I was Born'.

Student Achievement
Congratulations to Skye Wiseman (Year 11) who has received a High Merit (Distinction x5) in her Intermediate Adult Ballet examinations.
This is a wonderful achievement, considering her exams were set against the Year 11 assessment block, sporting commitments and her preparations for the Winter Ball.
This result enables Skye to start on a path of teaching ballet, should she choose to do so. Congratulations, Skye!
