SRC Bake Sale and 'Minute to Win It'

The Student Representative Council (SRC) decided to hold an activity day to celebrate the end of Term 2. The day consisted of a bake sale, and ‘Minute to Win it’ games for the Primary students.

For the bake sale, our SRC members baked some of their favourite foods like cupcakes, cookies, baklava, and sticky date pudding, as well as many more delicious baked goods.

The council managed to raise over $420 which will all go to Scovia, our school’s sponsor child from Uganda. The donation will go towards supporting her needs at home, at school and her general well-being.

In addition to the bake sale, the SRC members also held ‘Minute to Win it’ games for all the Primaries to take part in. With prizes up for grabs, so many students made their way to the community rooms to try to conquer some of the games arranged by the SRC. Whether the kids were trying to eat a doughnut off a string, throw bean bags into a hoop, or throw ping pong balls into a cup with their eyes closed; they all had a good time, and left with a smile and a handful of prizes!

Thank you so much to everyone who took part in the end-of-semester celebration!
