Out of School Hours Care

What we have been up to…

Last week was about all things fairytales. We got crafty making magic mirrors and clay unicorns. There was also a range of child-initiated activities completed this week including paper-plate dragons and making our own ball-throwing arcade game.

This week, we have lots of activities planned around dinosaurs and all things prehistoric.

Last week, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Yina! We were so excited to meet little Sarah and catch up with Yina who we have all missed lots! The children were given the opportunity to ask Yina questions about having a baby such as, “Did it hurt?” and, “Did a stalk deliver the baby?”. The children enjoyed holding the baby’s hand, patting her on the head, and gathering around to say hello! It was so lovely to see the children being as gentle as they were excited towards the baby.

What a great week!

I am grateful for seeing Yina’s baby and playing outside – Macy

Communication:

  • We are continuing to encourage social distancing and handwashing for the kids during service. We have some additional RAT tests for families who require it.
  • We have gone back to parents signing kids in and out. There is sanitiser at the sign in desk for your convenience.
