BPS PINGPONGATHON!

Start practicing your table tennis skills, the Pingpongathon is coming to Blackburn Primary School

On Friday the 9th of September we will be hosting an big event to reconnect as a community, to have a heap of fun together, and to top it off, to raise money for an incredible cause!

The students will be playing with their classes throughout the day, under the guidance and support of their awesome PE teacher. However, this is an invitation to you and your family to join us after school. From 3:30pm to 6:30pm we will be hosting table tennis games, some food and drinks and a chance to catch up with each other, and meet other families from our school.

The Ping Pong-A-Thon is a fundraising & advocacy movement, combating human trafficking and exploitation of young people in South East Asia through table tennis events held every year.

Schools, universities, churches, workplaces, sporting clubs and pubs across Australia, host table tennis events between 3 hours and 24 hours in length. Participants sign up to play at their venue of choice and invite family/friends to sponsor their efforts. Funds raised support the work of several organisations combating the slavery of some of the most vulnerable people in our world.

If you would like to register to play PingPong and raise money some money for this great cause, or if you would like to sponsor someone who is registered to play, please follow the links below.

Coffee Catch Up Reminder

Thursday the 4th of August myself and another couple of parents will be heading over to grab a coffee from Aunt Billies. If you are a parent at BPS and would like to meet other parents, or if you are just a lover of coffee, please feel free to join us. We will try and do a few of these catch ups over the next few months, it will be a lovely way to get to know more people in our beautiful school community.
