Physical Education

We were very fortunate to have coaches from Beyond Technique Football School come and run a clinic with the students during PE classes.  Our students had a wonderful time focussing on their skills and teamwork.

Ex-professional footballers Rashid Mahazi and Luc Jeggo, along with Salim Mahazi, created the school after leaving the game and finding a mutual interest and passion for coaching young players.  The Life Skills Through Play program aimed to provide students with a fun unique environment to learn valuable life skills through practical football games and activities.  If your child is interested in joining their school please see details on their website https://www.btfootballschool.com/

VISUAL ARTS

Our Arts Captains, Eleni and Patricia are joined by Sahra, a School Ambassador, to run lunchtime art activities for the Junior school students.

LIBRARY - PARENT HELPERS NEEDED

YES! we need PARENT HELPERS in the library....and we NEED YOU!                                    We have completed the move of the books to the lower library area, in readiness for the school building upgrade. We would LOVE some help in checking the order of the books on the shelves.

COME along for a cuppa, catch up and to help us out.

We have a small team of mums doing a wonderful job, but there is still  a long list of day to day tasks to still be competed.  We welcome family and community members in Term 3.

WHEN: After school drop off, or before pick up, for approximately an hour.

Message a friend to join you, the more the merrier!

Of course, you can come at another time that suits you too.

NO SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED!

PLEASE sign in at the office, if you would like to join in.

With thanks,

Jenny Watts :)

STEAM

Students have been really enjoying learning about coding.  Coding is creating a set of instructions - in this case using online platforms - to direct a character or reach a designated position.  A very big thank you to the grade 4/5 and 5/6 students who worked with the Preps, mentoring them to assist with basic computer and coding skills.

Performing Arts

Prep students created cute characters using hand puppets.  Some characters were cheeky, happy or shy and hiding behind their wings, like the owl.
