General Info

• Gym Games are held in the BSC Gymnasium every Tuesday lunchtime from 1pm
• Force Blue runs each Friday from Period 4, through to the end of lunchtime (selected students)
• Make It Happen (Homework catch-up) runs from 1:00-1:30pm each lunchtime in N5
• Drawing Club runs every Friday lunchtime from 1pm in N3
• All students are expected to wear full school uniform unless a note is provided from a parent or guardian explaining the circumstances.
• A reminder that no hats/beanies are to be worn inside and only school hats/beanies are to be worn at school
• If you need more Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) they are available for collection from the School Office
• The new Guitar Club will run each Friday in G8. Please see Mr McClure if you are interested
• For students who signed up, House Basketball will commence this Thursday lunchtime

Painting 101

Last week our Hands on Learning (HoL) students were taught some painting tips and tricks when Cindy from Dulux, came and spent a day demonstrating different techniques. Thanks to Dulux donating the paint for the Cubbyhouse, our students were able to put some of their new found skills to good use. 

We would also like to give a shoutout, once again, to Polly Brittan of Highlands LLEN, for organising the process. The entire experience has been incredibly beneficial for the HoL team, helping them develop new skills that they can use well into the future.

SRC News

Last week our SRC team held a Jeans for Genes Day fundraiser to help raise funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute. Students were asked to come to school wearing their jeans and to bring a gold coin donation. Thanks to the SRC students for organising the event, funds raised were estimated to be around $90.
