Looking After Our Mates

Session

BSC recently hosted the VicRoads presentation of, "Looking After Our Mates", for our Year 11 and 12 students. The main focus of the session was to embolden our young drivers to act responsibly and consider the best option before getting behind the wheel. 

Students gained valuable insight into the choices and pressures facing them as they near the legal driving age and how to 'think around' a situation, rather than making a poor decision that may affect them for the rest of their life.

Along with drug and drink driving, speed and fatigue were also on the agenda, with students encouraged to consider the very real and sometimes lethal consequences that can arise when these factors are combined with driving.
