Holocaust Museum

Last week the 'War, What is it Good For?' class, travelled to the Melbourne Holocaust Museum. Once there we got to meet a survivor of the Holocaust and expand our knowledge on the history. We learnt about what life was really like for the Jewish and people of other minority groups living in Nazi occupied countries. We saw letters sent through Germany throughout that time and a man's Citizenship Certificate, received after arriving in Australia from Europe.

We had the opportunity to listen to Joe Szwarcberg recount his experiences of World War II and were very grateful to hear his story and learn from it. He left us with one message; that even the smallest act of kindness counts!
