Digital Thumbprint Workshop

Girton Grammar School recently had the pleasure of hosting Dom Phelan, the Victorian facilitator for the Optus Digital Thumbprint Program. The free digital education program delivers fun and engaging workshops to students, empowering and informing them about the importance of protecting personal information, avoiding cyberbullying, and being mindful of the impact of our online actions.

During his visit, Dom engaged with the students in an interactive and informative manner, discussing the various risks associated with the online world. He conducted workshops on Cyber Security with Years 5 and 6, Cyberbullying with Years 8, and Digital Identity with Year 11 students and teachers.
