Sandhurst Football

Congratulations to the Year 7/8 Boys Football team, who came away from the Sandhurst Division B carnival with a sensational victory. Throughout the course of the day, the Girton team outplayed Victory College, Eaglehawk Secondary College, Weeroona College, and East Loddon. The team played a good brand of football all day and winners across every line. It was particularly pleasing for the team as it was their first time representing the School at a Sandhurst Carnival. Well done team, and let's hope we can repeat the performance at ICCES in Term Three.

Round 3 versus Weeronna 5 – 0 – 30 to 0 – 0 – 0. 

Goalkickers: Liam Kroschel 2 (8 Riley),

Harper Kneebone (7 Frew), Julian Boucher (8 Millward) and Bosco Correa (8 Millward)

Round 4 versus Eaglehawk 2 – 0 – 12 to 0 – 1 – 1. 

Goalkickers: Liam Kroschel (8 Riley) and Francis Walls (8 Aherne)  

A special thank you for Mr Langan's assistance and the student leadership of Max Miller (10 Aherne), Ethan Hooke (10 Riley), Pat Conlan (10 Jones), Melvic Pambai (10 Frew) and Football Captain Hunter Wright (10 Aherne), who collectively supervised, umpired and helped coach throughout the day.
