VCE Motivate

For VCE Motivate the Year 12 Students were provided an opportunity to trial a House competition format of a Nintendo Mario Kart computer game. The six teams that represent our six Houses were displayed on the large screen in the BlackBox and the students enjoyed the Mario Kart competition. It is hoped something will evolve from this trial for Houses to use in their Inter-House competition, provided not too many students spin out off the track from those pesky banana skins!

After the Mario Kart competition ended, the traditional Year 12 Easter Egg Hunt finished off the session. The Prefects had hidden hundreds of Easter eggs around the Gymnasium and Londonderry Oval. After a group photo on the Oval, the countdown began, and the race was on! Students enjoyed their afternoon collecting as many Easter eggs as they could find, even though there were some sun-melted eggs from the warmth of the day.
