Zoom Session with Gojo Students

VCE Japanese students had a wonderful opportunity to link with Gojo High School students via Zoom at the start of this term.  With the pandemic impacting on our Exchange Program, we haven’t been able to visit each other for the last few years, so this was a fantastic learning experience for our students.  

At the start of the Zoom session, we introduced each other as a group, and then students were placed into break-out rooms.  This provided students the opportunity to interact and practise oral skills by asking each other questions regarding their personal life in English and Japanese.  

As Girton celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, our sister School relationship with Gojo High School also marks its 30th year.  We are hoping to visit Gojo during our summer holiday to celebrate the occasion. We would love to hear from past students who have visited Gojo or hosted Gojo students. It would be wonderful if you could send us your favourite Gojo photos.
