 Fitzroy Primary School Art Festival 

Finally! On Tuesday afternoon/evening our school community celebrated together to acknowledge, recognise and show-case our students` wonderful art work.  

Afterwards, families and staff continued the celebration with a welcome picnic including an Iftar dinner on the Napier St grounds.

Thank you to the  parents/carers who volunteered on Tuesday morning to help with setting up, the FPS parents who together with Andrea  painted the wall on Sunday morning in preparation for the amazing mural, and the lovely families who shared their wonderful food with the school community.

A massive thank you to the artistic team, David Booth & Carla McRae who meticulously re-created our Napier st grounds with their amazing wall design!  Special mention to Bianca and Jacob ( FPS parents) who worked all day on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday to help create the fantastic art work.  

Also, (once again) thank you to Nelson Alexander, Fitzroy for the donation of the ( very popular) popcorn machine and Zeth from Yarra Youth Services who kept students entertained  with  'hands on' art activities.

A huge thank youto Leah, our fabulous Art teacher who encouraged and supported all our students to create works of art that they are so proud of.
