School Based Apprenticeship and Trainee (SBAT) Opportunities

Congratulations to Wyndham College student Christine Douglas who is the first ever School Based Trainee to be employed at Microsoft. This is a fabulous achievement and we are very proud of Christine.

Read Christine's account of her first day at Microsoft:

"I had a great time on Friday. We went by train and had a tour around the Technology Centre which has amazing facilities like the main office. I also got to see my desk and they also began setting up my new laptop (yes. I now have 2 laptops.) I also got to meet the team that I'll be working with. I also found out what my role will be. So, on my payroll portal, it says that I am an IT Technician and on Friday I found out that I will be designing accessibility solutions for people with disabilities. I've been told that I have full creative freedom and that no matter how out there the idea is, they will make it happen using the technology at the Technology Centre".
