CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

A troupe of thespians have been training tirelessly to bring the beloved story of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory to the stage.  In August, a team of 53 talented students, who’ve worked closely with some dedicated staff, will step into the spotlight and celebrate Belgrave Heights Christian School’s return to the theatre.

BHCS’s production rehearsals began back in Week One of Term One.  Selected students from Year 5 - Year 12 have been meeting after school, twice a week, to refine their creative gifts and bring the popular story alive:

‘The world famous chocolatier, Willy Wonka, is opening the gates to his mystery factory... but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka's world of pure imagination. Will Charlie's adventures inside the factory become his ticket out of poverty?’

Tickets for Belgrave Heights Christian School’s production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ are now on sale!

The 2023 school musical will be staged at the beautiful theatre at Cardinia Cultural Center in Pakenham.

There are four performances from August 17th -19th.

Ticket purchasing will be available to the general public on the 12th of July, so get in quick to secure your priority tickets before they sell out!

NEXT TERM: FRENCH DAY (PRIMARY SCHOOL)

Bonjour tout le monde!

BHCS is holding a French Day on Wednesday, July 19 for Prep to Year 6.

This is a great way to instigate children’s passion for language learning and to foster their curiosity about the French language and culture. This event will give our students the opportunity to celebrate French language and customs through a fun and creative day, while encompassing all areas of the curriculum.

There will be a Dress Up Parade in the morning where students will have the opportunity to dress in a way that will reflect the French culture. Some ideas for dressing up are: Napoleon, a French athlete, a French artist, a character from a fairy-tale, or they can come dressed in the French colours (blue, white and red).

We encourage students to bring a French-inspired lunch on the day like croissants, quiche, or baguette to help create a wonderful educational experience for all.

TOASTY THURSDAYS: YEAR 7 - YEAR 12

Year 7 - Year 12 students are invited to breakfast club TOASTY THURSDAYS in the Chaplain Space.

These mornings are designed to encourage and promote students overall well-being and mental health along starting the day with a tasty breakfast!

All are welcome and we look forward to hosting TOASTY THURSDAYS between 8.00am - 8.30am each Thursday!

PARENT COFFEE MORNINGS

BHCS parents are welcome to utilise our on-site Cafe on Tuesday mornings each week, as our Coffee Mornings for parents continue this term. We hope to see you there!
