It has been great to see the Year 12, 11 and 7 students return to the school site to continue their studies in Science. When the Year 11 Chemistry class returned to school they commenced their extended practical investigation (EPI) task. This task involved them designing an experiment that would test the amount of phosphate level in contaminated water to see whether it was above toxic levels for marine life. To be able to carry out this task students needed to use a colorimeter. The EPI task went well, with all students being able to work out the level of phosphate in the unknown water sample.
