Year 9 Visual Communication Design in Remote Learning

Students have learnt how to model in 3D using SketchUp.

This year students have designed a studio based on a brief that is aimed at preventing youth homelessness. The studios are meant to be 18sqm in size, and contain a bed, desk, entertainment area, storage, and en suite bathroom.

Year 8 Visual Communication Design in Remote Learning

Our students have designed face masks using media they have available at home.

Students have folded an A4 piece of paper and drawn their designs on the mask.

The Elements of Design are introduced so that students can learn to communicate their ideas using Design language.

Year 10 Visual Arts Still Life Drawings

The Year 10 Visual Arts class has just concluded a practical task investigating ‘Still Life’. The task required them to arrange and compose a variety of objects to create a contour drawing. The students then manipulated positive and negative space by applying a range of alternating patterns to the background.
