Food Technology
Remote - Learning in the kitchen!
Despite students not being in the school kitchen, they have been encouraged by their teachers to cook at home, and that is exactly what some of them have been doing.
Cooking at home has been a great distraction and have given students something creative to do during Stage 4 Lockdown. It has also enabled students to develop food preparation and cooking skills, and increase their understanding of the nutritional content of food. They also have seen that there is a lot of science involved in cooking!
