Term 2 overivew

Argus Community 

This term in Physical Education, the Argus community will be focusing on object tracking and manipulation. The students will be learning to watch an object with their eyes, to catch, throw, punt, kick and roll a ball. They will revising back on running, skipping, galloping and jumping that was introduced last term.

Xenica Community

This term in Physical Education, the Xenica community will be revising on their running, jumping, leaping and ball handling skills like catching and throwing, as well as being introduced to dodging, punting and kicking.

Achilles Community

This term in Physical Education, the Achilles community will be doing mini athletics involving running, jumping and throwing. They will also be looking at target games where they will be practising throwing and striking an object, as well as tactical problem solving like defending, scoring choice, distance and speed.

Ulysses Community

This term in Physical Education, the Ulysses community will be doing mini athletics involving running, jumping and throwing. They will be focusing on striking and fielding within the sport of Cricket focusing on two handed strike and using team work to be able to succeed. They also will be practising tactical problems like striking the object to an open space, reducing space on defence and scoring points.
