Art Report

This Term the students have really enjoyed exploring the element of Colour and have produced some fabulous work as showcased in this newsletter. 

 

Level 5/6 Monochromatic 'Rides'

Level 1 Warm and Cool Colours

Students from Foundation through to Level Four have now completed clay work after experimenting with claydough to develop the correct techniques for creating coils, pinchpots and attaching embellishments.  Clay will be fired over the holiday break to allow for glazing and painting in Term Three.

Level 3/4 Complimentary Colours

As Students work throughout the year, completed work is placed into their Art Folio which will be forwarded home in Term Four.  This allows us the opportunity to display work around the school and teaches and encourages students to look after and respect the work they have completed.
