What's been cooking with our MITS Alumni?

There has been plenty happening with our past MITS students who are part of the big MITS family.  Last Sunday everyone enjoyed the Elwood Beach Day, in 37° heat, with a cool change dropping the temperature by 10° in five minutes, right at the end! The current class of 2019 MITS students were also at the beach, and cousins, brothers and sisters all enjoyed catching up.   Brad, our Head of Boarding still imagined he could beat the kids in a sprint and found out pretty quickly he doesn't have the speed he once possessed.  

Sunday was a busy day, and that evening Gigi and Liam (Class of 2018) and Ed, flew to Sydney to be guests of the Channel 9 show 'This Time Next Year'.  The show highlighted Tom Dunn, who attempted Australia’s longest marathon last year, to raise money for MITS.  Gigi and Liam (and Ed) had a tour of Fox Studios, dinner and a special ‘on-camera’ position in the audience. The show will air in the next couple of months.  The boys loved meeting Karl Stefanovic, but a car nap was needed on the way home!
