Real Talk Australia

Ged and Ange from Real Talk Australia facilitated a half day workshop with students in year 6 and spent a session with year 4 on Tuesday this week.  Students were engaged with discussion about social media, self care and relationships. They were equipped with useful information and top tips to use when they may find themselves in tricky situations and where they can go for help. 

Young Archies Competition Success

Leo Preston, Niklas McGregor, Paris Barnes and Joseph Vickerman received certificates from Adam Marshall to acknowledge their achievements in the local Young Archies Competition which was held at the Bank Art Museum Moree earlier in the year.

Congratulations to these students and all students who entered the competition. St Philomena's is lucky to have such talented, enthusiastic, budding artists.

Week 9 Learning

During week 9 the learners in K-6 participated in mathematical investigations. They worked collaboratively to apply mathematical concepts to solve real-life problems. These motivating and engaging investigations allowed students to apply and practice their knowledge of mathematical concepts.
