Wellbeing

Congratulations!

The Wellbeing Hub Team would like to congratulate all BHHS students on the way they have demonstrated their coping skills during Remote Learning. We appreciate the wellbeing support that carers and families provided our students during a challenging period.

The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project (TRP) has created resources for families and carers to continue to support the positive mental health of your child.

TRP @ Home has been designed to provide carers and families with easy to implement learning activities and digital content linked to the The Resilience Projects key principles; Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness & Emotional Literacy. They have a video to introduce the concept.

You can access the TRP@Home resources here.

Headspace - still here for you during Covid-19

Useful resources for carers and families can be found on the Headspace site. Such as considering how to re-adjust during this period of time, with things like school resuming during COVID.

Best Wishes to Lisa Smith

Our Wellbeing Coordinator and School Counsellor, Lisa, has decided to have a tree change and is moving away at the end of the term. Her dedication, commitment to students and her willingness to go above and beyond has been a driving force in the team. She has attended many camps with the students and involved in the Duke of Ed Program. Lisa is passionate about the ‘Paws for Wellbeing’ dog therapy program which she was a part of this semester. She is a proactive leader and team player and her kindness and generosity of spirit will leave a huge gap at BHHS. We wish her a bright future in her new endeavours.
