              Having Fun With Remote Learning                    Taite G - LPPS Vice Captain

This year started normal as always, then a little way into the year, Covid-19 was discovered.  Then the twist .... we were all of a sudden sent home and isolated from everyone.  I thought this would be great but it turned out to be claustrophobic.  I felt stuck. I ended up at the point where I just accepted this fate.  

However ....

It's close to my birthday!  For entertainment I want to get a Nintendo Switch and a game called Animal Crossings New Horizons because the game is pretty much ENDLESS, so it should keep me entertained for a while.  

I like to play basketball because it's the only thing that keeps me entertained outside.  We have our own basketball ring and I play with my brother Ruben for exercise.  

Now that we are past the start of this 'quarantine lifestyle', I'm inviting it to stay.  I'm enjoying school at home.  

I have been reading, working on a jigsaw, playing games with my siblings and helping my younger sister with her remote learning.  We have been playing the online math's games together.  

I have also started playing new video games because it has been raining a lot.  I want to be open to trying new things, and remote learning has given me that opportunity.

Home school has turned out to be easy and enjoyable.  The teachers have been really skilled at teaching us online, without being right there next to us.  

Thank you to all the teachers for making this easy and entertaining.
