Grade 5 Specialist Home Learning
Each Specialist subject have been timetabled once a week for 25 minutes.
Monday - Physical Education
Tuesday - Art
Wednesday- LOTE Mandarin
Thursday - Performing Arts
Friday - Specialist catch up and work to be completed
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the point of contact for your child's Specialist home learning via email - chu.diona.d@edumail.vic.gov.au. She will then pass the message to the relevant Specialist teacher.

Grade 3/6 Fitness Challenges
There are many ways of maintaining fitness and the below table gives you various options to try over the next 2 weeks, (week 6 & 7). Choose any activities that you like and keep a record of which ones that you do. Remember that you should be spending 25/30 minutes each Monday being active but regular daily exercise is recommended for your physical and mental well being.
If you are choosing the Scavenger Hunt then go down to the second page for one to use or make up your own.
Make sure that you check with your parents first before starting any activities!

Your art task this week is… ARTWORK CHALLENGE!!!
You are to recreate a work of art with objects (and people) in your home.
Here is a link to the national gallery of Victoria (https://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/explore/collection/,) you can search for an artwork here or if you know of an artist's artwork you’d like to create find it on google for reference.
Choose a favorite artwork
Find three things lying around your house⠀
Recreate the artwork with those items and take a photo we will share these in a gallery walk when school returns
So print a copy if you can before returning to school

Stop Motion - Creating a Stop Motion Film
Task: Editing your stop motion story and uploading to Google Classroom.
You need to:
- Make sure that your stop motion covers one of the 3 types; Paper-cut, Object or Pixilation animation.
- Make sure your movie has a variety of shot types; Extreme wide, very wide, long shot, mid shot, medium close up, close up and extreme close up.
- Watch your whole stop motion film back as if you were the audience and seeing it for the first time. Does it make sense?
- When editing make sure that you ave no hands/fingers showing in any of the shots (bloopers can be put at the end), shots are not wobbly and flow together smoothly.
- Upload to Google Classroom assignment.
