Watch the video and now let’s see if we can put our movements into a dance. Practice the dance at least 3 times.
Task 5.

Useful Links
It is important to stay active and healthy during these times. It is recommended that students participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day. This could include jogging, running, skipping or practicing ball skills. We have included some links with additional activities and Mrs Travis' workouts from home. (Parent Tip - the workouts can be repeated and your child can choose and decide how many repetitions of an exercise they do) . Children and parents can actively get involved and exercise together.

Art - Tuesday
Task: This week we are going to keep using our fine motor skills. We are going to focus on scissor control and holding scissors correctly while making a collage. We are going to make a paper based collage made entirely from different pieces and types of paper.
Please keep your work in your Specialist home learning book.
You will need:
A piece of A4 paper to glue shapes onto
Different types of paper, e.g. coloured papers, magazines, newspapers, wrapping paper (whichever papers you have)
Scissors
Glue stick
Pencil
Task outline:
Find some different types of paper
Using a pencil, draw some shapes onto your pieces of paper, make your shapes a good size so that you can cut them out. Don’t make them too small.
Cut the shapes out with your scissors, making sure you have a controlled cut.
Repeat this until you have cut out lots of shapes
Arrange your shapes onto your piece of A4 paper
Glue your shapes down and you have made a collage!
For Parents:
Scissor control can be developed by encouraging and demonstrating to your child/ren that the cutting hand points the scissors forward or up to the roof, while the other hand turns the paper to help control the cutting.
Extension:
If you finish this and have some more time, you can try finding some objects like a cup or a glue stick to trace around to draw your shapes. You can then cut out these shapes and add them to your artwork.

Week 6
Parent tips: Next week is Italian week so all students are asked to be dressed in the colours green white and red for their Friday google meets.
Here is a video on making pizza Gennaro's best home made Pizza. This gives you time to get the ingredients organised if you want to make pizza together. It would be great to have the students eating pizza and having a gelato for a treat. Ready for our online Italian day next Friday 29th May.
Mangiamo la pizza ( let’s eat Pizza)
Italian Apps Molto bene and ABC learn Italian maybe used along with the
activities set.Molto bene app has games and interactive activities which the students love to
work on.There is also a Department website called Languagesonline (Italian). However you
will need to be on a computer to use this as it needs Flash abode to link into the interactive
