Assistant Principal's Report

I would like to wish all of our families the best for the holiday season. Please take this time to relax and rejuvenate.

I feel privileged to be leading our fabulous school in 2022 as Acting Principal. I am looking forward to building on our successes and continuing the great work we have been doing thus far.  High expectations for learning, increased student engagement and overall student wellbeing are central to providing a learning environment that promotes learning growth and successful outcomes.  As an Influence School, we will continue to prioritise these essential elements in the teaching and learning environment to benefit our students. 

I think I can speak on behalf the teachers when I say that we are immensely proud of the perseverance and resilience that all of our students demonstrated this year. Congratulations to the graduating class of 2021! We wish you all the best as you embark on this next chapter in your lives.

Today at DPS, all students enjoyed participating in a silent disco party to celebrate the end of the school year. It was lovely to see the children smiling, laughing and dancing away!  I was lucky enough to share in the fun with some Prep Students.  

Enjoy a well-deserved break, and have a safe and happy holiday!
