St James Tennis Team Trials

Over the last few weeks we have been running trials for students in Year 5 and 6 in 2022 to represent St James at the HOLT district tennis tournament on Tuesday 11th February, 2022. 

Thank-you to the students who participated in the trials over the last two weeks. The boys section had at least 9 students trial and the girls had 3. 

Final details will be sent via Operoo to the students who have made it through.

Christmas House Fun

During our final lesson for Physical Education for the year the students were involved in what seems to have become our annual Christmas House Festival. 

Last week our classes were involved in a number of activities all based on a christmas theme in their house colours. Students participated in:

• A snowball throwing competition
• Santa sack races
• Santa sack candy cane raids
• Egg and spoon races
• Santa hat races
• SANTA basketball shooting

All activities were scored and at the end of the day all results from each class were compiled to give our results as follows:

4th- Conquest (Gold)

3rd- Corbett (Blue)

2nd -Mulquin (Green)

and in 1st Place was Byrne (Red)

Thank-you to all students for participating, wearing their coloured t-shirts or even wearing a touch of christmas!

Let’s Hope 2022 has less interruptions and more Sport!!!!
