Join the biggest band you've ever seen! Imagine 20 drum kits, 20 basses, 60 guitars, 10 keyboards and a swarm of singers on mics. All are warmly welcome to take part in this rollicking rock and roll adventure – young and old, beginners and seasoned pros –

when the famous Big Lost Band hits O’Donnell Gardens, St Kilda on the 15th of January.

First open rehearsal is scheduled from 1-3pm on Saturday 12th December at Theatre Works. Register yourself, your children, your partner, your grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, great aunts, pets and neighbours by completing the following Google Form:

School Holidays at St Joseph’s!

The school holidays are fast approaching and it’s time to start thinking about all the fun we will be getting up to at OSHClub! As St James OSHClub does not run a program over the school holidays, the nearest vacation care program is located at St Joseph’s Primary School in Elsternwick. We have an amazing team of staff, including our St James educators Laura and Kaitlyn, who will be working St Joseph’s these holidays. We have planned some incredible experiences for your children. Some highlights include a trip to the movies, MCG and St Kilda FC!

The St Joseph’s Elsternwick program will run from Thursday the 16th of December until Friday the 28th of January. If you’d like to learn more about this program, please see the attached program flyer or click here. Bookings for the upcoming vacation care program can be made online through your Kidsoft account. Summer Holidays Coding & Robotics Camps for Kids and Teens

Brighton Grammar are once again hosting a Junior School Holiday coding and robotics program these holidays. Attached a pdf e-flyer with a link to the site that has all the information on the January programs.

ELSTERNWICK CRICKET CLUB

We are seeking to form a partnership with St James Primary School with interested students and families. We will be fielding the following relevant teams in season 2021/22:

Under 13 Girls only
Under 12 boys
Rookies 8-10 year old girls and boys
Master Blasters 7-10 year old girls and boys
Junior Blasters 5-7 year old girls and boys

Registrations are currently open on our website (http://elsternwickcc.vic.cricket.com.au/) but we would be more than happy for anybody interested to contact us should they have any queries or require any further information.

No previous experience playing cricket is required and our focus will be on participation, skill development and fun.

As an aside, Cricket Australia offers a terrific school ambassador program which provides access to the curriculum resources, a free equipment kit for completing a 4 week program and a BBL shirt for signing up to the school cup.
