Auslan Extra!

Hello Families, carers and the Armstrong Creek community, 

I’ve been sitting down and thinking about what I shall share.  I’ve been reflecting on all the learning. We’ve had the opportunity to learn Auslan signs for greetings, emotions, colours, AFL vocabulary and we had an AFL Challenge and now the holiday season is just around the corner! I thought it might a good opportunity to learn family vocabulary as I expect many of you will be spending a lot of time with family and friends in the holidays. I have also added another youtube video which relates to weather where you can have morning conversations about the day’s weather forecast.  There are also some signs for different natural disasters which may be interesting too!  

In the next Auslan Extra I will focus on a summer/holiday theme to enable you to practice more Auslan during the summer either after school and/or in the holidays.
