Year 4 Bike Ed

Our Year 4’s hit the road tomorrow as they negotiate the local streets of Mt Waverley. We have been practicing our bike handling skills and road safety rules in preparation for some on-road riding.

Tennis Clinic

Danielle from Tally Ho Tennis Club dropped in to SSPS today to present our Foundation students with their own tennis racquet. The racquets were made available by ANZ, Tennis Australia and the Tally Ho Tennis Club. As part of the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Racquet Roadshow, 30,000 racquets have been made available for foundation students around Australia. We are one of 832 lucky schools to be receiving racquets. It’s a great opportunity to get our kids moving, both at home and at school! The students have also been given a special certificate to take home to celebrate their new tennis racquets.

SDSSA Virtual Summer Sports Challenge

CONGRATULATIONS to our Year 5/6 students who have come runners up in the Syndal District Summer Sport Challenge. The students completed a variety of virtual challenges to earn points for their school. Burwood East were the overall winners.
