Year Prep/1AP

The Prep One students have been tuning in to the Advent season. They looked at images of waiting and used the thinking routine See Think Wonder to record some ideas they saw in the pictures, things they were thinking about and questions they had. Later they used a concept map to answer the question 'What is waiting?' examples times they wait, what they wait for and whether waiting is easy or difficult for them. As a way to reflect on this they drew a picture to match their thinking about waiting. 

As a way to go further students will continue to discover what others think about when they are waiting and will listen to stories from the bible. They will be supported to make connections with the season of Advent and feelings of waiting.
