Semester two reports
Teachers are currently finalising reports for all students. These will be made available next week via the Compass parent portal. If you have any difficulties logging in, please contact the office on 9817 6135 for assistance.
Booklists have now been distributed
Order your child's 2021 books and stationery on line by visiting Campion Education, using the Preshil code of 2TTC.
Second-hand textbooks
Preshil is conscious of the need to provide an efficient process for families to be able to buy and sell second-hand textbooks and other student resources.
We are pleased to announce the School’s new initiative to provide parents with the ability to trade these second-hand items via the Sustainable School Shop website.
The new service is very accessible, it preferences our school first and then provides access to buy and sell items with families attending other schools - many schools use this service. Access to second-hand textbooks, calculators, stationery, musical equipment, etc is available all year.
For the best results:
· Register on the Sustainable School Shop website, nominating Preshil
· List your items for sale
· List wanted ads for those items you are looking to buy
· Preshil’s booklists are automatically loaded into the system to make listing ads easy
· The system matches the ads of buyers with sellers and notifies the buyer via email
· Buyers contact sellers and arrange where and when to trade
· Most trading will occur with other parents from the school
· Parents are well supported via Sustainable School Shop’s telephone (0438 743 444) and email help lines
· You can pre-arrange the transaction and then trade after the texts are not required.
Instrumental music enrolments
We are currently in the process of finalising enrolments for our tutors so they can plan their allotment for the start of next year.
Contracts for the 2021 program are now outstanding.
If you are yet to return this paperwork for your child, please do so as soon as possible.
Office closure
The School will close from Friday 18 December until Thursday 7 January when the Admin team returns. During this shutdown period please email enquiries to preshil@preshil.vic.edu.au or leave a message on the School’s voicemail at 9817 6135. Both these facilities will be monitored during the closure.
