Catholic Identity

                                     Mercy Prayer

We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have served at St. Mary’s.

It is through their vision,  determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

We are proud to be a Mercy School, where the values of love and justice are taught and lived every day.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses -

Both of these masses will be celebrated in the Marian Centre.  This will allow us to follow Covid19 guidelines and to allow plenty of space for parishioners and visitors to come together to celebrate mass at this very special and sacred time of the year.

Christmas Eve -  beginning with Carols  at 6.30pm and Mass commencing at 7.00pm.

We would like as many children as possible to join us (at the front) to form a choir to sing at the mass.

Christmas Day - mass at 10.00am.  (plenty of space, invite all the family to come along)

Reconciliation

will be held in the church on Thursday 17th at 7pm.  All welcome

Sacraments update -

Confirmation –

Congratulations to the Grade Six students who have completed the preparation workbook for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  These students will be contacted next year when we have a date confirmed for the celebration of the Sacrament at St. Mary's Parish.

Eucharist -

Congratulations to a small number of children who have completed the preparation for the Sacrament of first Eucharist.  They have been making the Sacrament at various Parish Masses over the last two weeks.

The remainder of the Grade Three sacramental students will make the Sacrament in 2021 on a date to be confirmed.
