YEAR 8 ART
Our Amazing Year 8s have almost completed their Indigenous Appropriation Project - Understanding Story. These Year 8 artworks reflect and respond to selected contemporary indigenous artists’ interpretations of Biblical narratives. Students had to use the composition, elements and principles of an original artwork and ‘see themselves in the story’. In this context, the story of God’s power and redemption is the Heavenly Treasure.
Flames - Christian Bligh
Footprints - Jayden Hung
Four Trees - Chris Vuong
YEAR 6 & 7 ART
Years 6 & 7 have been working to complete a ceramic project and despite interruptions are forging ahead. We are reminded through these artworks to store up treasures in heaven. God longs for us to know Him and seek His Kingdom first! We hope our artworks inspire you to do just that - be Heavenly minded!
