Beginning With The End In Mind

Well this is a Habit that is well and truly being actioned as we prepare for our 8th annual Junior School Leadership Day. There is much excitement, and certainly a great deal of synergy taking place. We are exploring different ways to showcase the depth of knowledge and skill that our Junior School students have, in applying The 7 Habits.

Our Year 5 cohort are reaching new heights with their ICT skills, and will be treating you to a compilation video they have created from scratch; writing content, filming with a green screen, directing and editing.

Year 3 students have delighted in learning a traditional Greek dance, supported by our very talented Year 3 teachers. Some students have shown great instrumental talent, and have asked to accompany the song with a selection of instruments.

We have stunning art work incorporated into a song, A Reader’s Theatre, with connections to The 7 Habits, and our gorgeous prep children are excited to have their first Junior School stage performance.

Speeches from our very proactive students, demonstrating the power of finding their voice and taking action on what matters to them, will surely inspire you.

Year 5 tour guides are preparing to take guided tours through the classrooms, where you will see an activity facilitated by our Year 5's from each of The 7 Habits in action.

We will conclude our morning by inviting you to attend a delicious morning tea, where all Junior School teachers and Year 5 students will celebrate what is sure to be another exciting showcase of the embedded practice of The 7 Habits. I look forward to seeing our wonderful community on Thursday 12th September.
