Homestays Needed

As part of the "giving back" to our friends of Mallacoota, we would like to offer a one week stay to a few of the Mallacoota secondary school students on either of the last two weeks of term one.

What we are proposing are that students arrive on the Sunday and will stay for the week and leave on the Saturday.

JMSS will loan a myki to students while they are here. We will provide an initial amount of $30.00 on

the card, and we ask you to assist students to top it up with their own money as needed. Regional

students will travel to and from school with your child as they normally travel, whether it be private

or public transport.

All of the people in your household over the age of 18 must get a Working With Children Check

before the Exchange starts.

As a volunteer you can get one free-of-charge so please visit www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ . Fill in the form and take it to an Australia Post outlet to lodge.

The whole process takes about 4 weeks so please ensure that you submit your application as soon as

possible.
