Knockout Football

Year 6/7 boys from ‘The Hive’ and ‘The Zone’ have been participating in a Knockout Football tournament against other schools in the local region. For our first game we versed Pennington Primary School and defeated them by about 5 goals. We went to Pennington to play this match and went home with a win. In our second game, we were up against West Lakes Shore Primary, playing at Port Districts Football Club. Unfortunately we were beaten, with a substantial loss of 72 points. Because of this we were knocked out in the second round and won’t have any more games to play in this knockout competition.

Knockout Netball

Currently, Miss Eadsforth, the room 26 teacher has put together a netball team into a knock out competition. This team consists of 10 year 6/7 students, from “The Zone” room 26 and 27 and “The Hive” room 10 and 11. So far Largs have won two rounds. We have played Pennington (62 – 1) and Allenby Gardens (19 – 15). Next we play Nazareth, who knocked us out last year. While we are training hard, we are looking forward to the challenge.
