ARTS

October Arts Festival
Once again the Arts department is celebrating students achievements in the Arts in our annual October Arts Festival.
The festival will run from October 18 to 31.
Artworks on display range from Years 7 to 12 and cover all areas of the Arts; Ceramics, Photography, Painting, Drawing, Textiles, Media and Graphics.
Drama and music performances will also be held during the celebration.
The Performing Arts Theatre foyer is open at lunchtimes for students, staff and parents to enjoy the displays on show.
VCE Drama
On Thursday 19 October, our Unit 4 Drama students successfully performed their Solos to family and friends as part of their final preparations for their external exam.
Each student should be congratulated on their efforts as it is a challenging task to perform on your own to a public audience.
The performances were mock assessed/ moderated by 4 qualified VCE Drama teachers who provided feedback for the students to use in order to refine their work before their exam on Monday.
Students will also be performing at lunchtimes during October Arts Festival.
Congratulations to the VCE Drama class of 2017!
