Farewell to our Year 12 students

Our Year 12 cohort have less than a fortnight until their exam period begins and, as with every year, the English exam will be their first challenge!

Year 12 students are reminded that there is a wide range of activities they can be completing in their study time that will lift their confidence, knowledge and ability. The writing of practice pieces in timed conditions can also help immensely.

Students will have their English teachers available to them to discuss their practice writing pieces and receive feedback.  Every little thing done in this coming fortnight can make a big improvement come October 26!

Best of luck to all students completing the English Exam.

End of Year Examinations Years 9 to 11

Seeing the Year 12s undertake their end of year exams is a great reminder to younger students as to the importance of learning effective revision and exam management skills.

As Term 4 progresses, students in Years 9 to 11 will find themselves engaging in exam revision. This is a great opportunity for students to test themselves and recognise what best works for them when preparing for the exam experience.

Writing Folio

A reminder to parents that students will need to submit their completed writing folios in the coming weeks.

For many students, this will mean completing some pieces and putting the final ‘polish’ on pieces of work.

A conversation with your son or daughter about where they currently stand with their folio could be beneficial in ensuring they are on track to submit their best possible work.
