CURRICULUM

Year 12 students
We wish our Year 12’s all the very best as their secondary school education comes to fruition.
The first internal examination commences with English on Wednesday 1 November, however, many Performing Arts students will have already completed practical examinations in the weeks prior to this and have been busily rehearsing their acts.
Indeed, students have been completing Practice Examinations in all subjects in conditions that will replicate the actual assessment. They are now revising and honing their skills in class and at home in readiness for their assessments.
Students have been encouraged to seek feedback and advice from their teachers in order to improve their outcomes. They are reminded that teachers are available to see them in the study period and in between their exams.
Much improvement can be made in these last few weeks and staff and students are working together in an effort to make this happen.
Students should also access their teachers to assist them to manage the revision period effectively.
'S' and 'N' Reporting
All students are reminded that in order to receive an ‘S’ on their end of year reports, they must ensure that all work requirements, Common Assessment Tasks and homework are completed.
Indeed, students must demonstrate their effort by coming to class on time with required resources and engage positively in all class work and activities.
Receiving two ‘N’s will necessitate a conference with parents and coordinators in order to discuss strategies to improve going into next year. To avoid this, students are reminded to always work to the best of their ability.
