Student Achievements 

Emerson, 56M

Emerson has been nominated as a finalist for "2019 Levels Gymnast of the Year" to be announced in February 2020 at Gymnastics Victoria Awards Night at Marvel Stadium.  His finalist nomination reads:

 

2019 has been a great period of improvement for 11 year old Emerson, with his hard work and dedication resulting in success throughout the year. 

 

Emerson is a great athlete to have in the gym, his positive attitude and energy is infectious at both training and competition. Emerson and his family are always happy to help where required. 

 

Some of his 2019 achievements include;

• Second place in Trampoline at the 2019 Australian Championships 2019

• Finalist and fourth place in Trampoline and 5th place DMT in Level 6 at National Clubs 2019

• 2019 Victorian Level 6 Champion in Trampoline and DMT

• With team mates he helped contribute to CYC’s ranking of third for Level 6 Club in Australia.

 

After his successes this year he has recently transitioned and qualified in the international stream for 2020. Congratulations

Leo L., 34B

Leo has obtained an  excellence award in Chinese language at the  language school and successfully completed his first piano performance without any struggle. He finally did it and he is excited and proud of that. Congratulations.

Alannah, 2O

Alannah received her new belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu last week. Congratulations

Emilee, FT

 " Emilee has been attending on Sundays, Xin Jin Shan Chinese Language and Culture school (新金山中文学校) -  a community based language and cultural school - learning the Chinese language.

 

This year Emilee received the school’s annual gold medal for Grade 2 for her excellent performance in all aspects. The photo below is taken with Emilee’s Chinese teacher,余老师 who has coached, guided and played a key role in her achievements. " Congratulations
