Out and About.....

The decision to close the school early for Term1 makes it all the more important for ALL PARENTS to log into SEQTA so that teachers can communicate with you regarding your daughter's progress/school work.

EdSmart is up and running for 2020. It is important to ensure we have your correct email address so that you receive all forms for information from the College. 

 

Thanks are extended to all families for the donations of toiletries and Easter Eggs (and the sale of Raffle Tickets). This year, with the Bushfires and the COVID-19, it has been so important for our students to keep those who are less fortunate, ill or displaced, in their thoughts and actions whenever possible.

 

Best wishes for the approaching holidays. It is an uncertain time, but one where the need for maintaining HOPE, HOSPITALITY and a sense of JUSTICE are of paramount importance.

Please refer the attached letter from Prestige Civil Group in relation to upcoming traffic disruptions for the next 10-12 weeks.  We recommend you allow additional time when dropping off and collecting your daughter or make alternative arrangements.   

2022 Enrolment Information

All enquiries to Sue Douglas Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8.00am-3.30pm

  • Applications for Year 7 2022 close on August 21st, 2020.
  • Interviews are held with members of the Leadership Team with all families who have applied.
  • Letters of offer for a place at Killester are sent on Friday 15th October, 2020.
  • Acceptance of the offers is required by Friday 6th November, 2020.
  • If an offer cannot be made, families are able to request that their daughter be placed on a Waiting List.

School Production Rehearsal Dates

Please note the following rehearsal dates for the school musical, The Addams Family.

Rehearsals:

  • Monday Lunchtimes
  • Thursdays after school 3.30pm until 5.30pm
  • Half day rehearsal ( students will be out of class period 5 &6):

                    Thursday 25th June, Day 4, 1.00pm - 5.30pm 

  • School Holiday Rehearsals Thursday 9th July and Friday 10th July
  • Thursday 30th July Monash Theatre Rehearsal day (ALL DAY)
  • PRODUCTION WEEK Monday August 24th - Saturday 29th August (see details below)
  1. Monday 24th Aug - small backstage crew
  2. Tuesday 25th Aug - all cast and crew
  3. Wednesday 26th Aug - all cast and crew
  4. Thursday 27th Au - all cast and crew
  5. Friday 28th Aug - evening performance only- students should be in class that day.
  6. Sat 29th Aug - Matinee and Evening performance

Final Cast List will be posted on Monday.  Please see Jenna Cronin or Donna Brunt if there is an issue.  We have reduced the amount of rehearsals during school time so that classes are disrupted as little as possible.
