5/6 STEAM Project Celebration Expo

North Geelong Secondary College Advanced STEM Program

Congratulations to our Grade 5 students Maria, Meyah and Ela who completed their participation in the NGSC's Advanced STEM Program last week. The girls had to present their findings from an experiment they conducted all by themselves to a large audience that included parents and principals from neighbouring network schools. The girls spoke with confidence and represented our school with distinction. Maria, Meyah and Ela should be very proud of their efforts.

Indonesian Word of the Week

To help support our Indonesian program across the school, we will be doing the ‘Indonesian Word of the Week’.  It is displayed in every classroom across the school each week and used in general discussions between students and teachers. Perhaps you can then try and integrate them into your conversations at home as much as possible.

Captain's Comment

It’s unbelievable that it’s almost the end of the school year. There have been many exciting times and changes throughout the year. Soon we will have to say goodbye to our grade 6’s who are moving on to high school next year. To celebrate their time at Rollins they are going to have graduation night next week as well as Adventure Park. On Wednesday the ½’s had an awesome time at Batesford. They had so much fun.
