ANZAC Day
School Captains Jordan Lentini and Emma Carroll place the Anzac Day wreath
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
On the Wednesday before ANZAC Day, Huntingtower staff and students paused and reflected on the service and sacrifice of all those who have fought to defend our country.
Finn Hall welcomed everyone by playing the didgeridoo and acknowledging the traditional owners of the land. Student leaders read from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Hugh Perry gave his award winning Legacy speech and Spirit of ANZAC addresses were read by Isambard Knox-Johnson and Logan Ratnarajah. We were all reminded why Australians honour and remember those who have fought for our country.
