Lost Property

We are inundated with lost property.  We have polar fleece jumpers, the older style jackets and non school clothes.  Please ask your child to come and have a look if you think you might be missing something.

Any items uncollected will be donated to the Red Cross next Friday.

Progress Reports

The next round of student progress reports were issued to families this week.  Please note that there are no hard copies sent home for these reports. They have been distributed via Compass.  If your family does not currently have access to Compass please get in touch with the school as soon as possible to ensure that you can access this important information about your child’s progress.

School Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPB)

The expected behaviours for Year 7-10 students.

Doctors in Schools Unavailable

The doctor that was attending for our Doctors in Schools program is now unavailable to come to our school. Unfortunately this means that we do not have a doctor in the school so students are unable to make appointments at this stage. Our local Primary Health Network is working to find us a new doctor for this important program. Students and families will be informed via the newsletter and Compass when we have a new doctor and students are able to make appointments again.

Sporting Achievement

Congratulations to Illy and Morna who were recognised on the SSV Facebook page this week for their achievement at the State Athletics Championships.

"Check out these champions of school sport. Morna Naquto and Illy Sovau travelled from Mildura on the public bus to compete in the School Sport Victoria Track and Field champs today. The eight hour bus trip did not stop Morna from achieving 2nd place in the 14yrs girls discus and 6th in shot put. Then Illy finishing an incredible 4th in the 15yrs girls shot put. Great job girls represented Merbein P-10 well!"
