Principals' Message

From the Principals - Alison & Lisa
Thank you to those parents and carers who braved the wet weather last Thursday to come along to the Meet and Greet. It was lovely to put some names to faces and to share our goals and expectations as leaders for 2020. It is important that we value education and the learning outcomes we all aspire to attain for our children.
Here is a snapshot of some of our expectations:
Goals and Expectations for the Year - Annual Improvement Plan 2020
to improve the delivery of the Religious Education Curriculum
ensure consistency in our approach to improve our Whole School English Block
to improve knowledge of curriculum and pedagogical practices in Mathematics
to create a culture where the wellbeing of staff and students is a priority
building community with our parents, carers and families
trusting our teachers and valuing their work
being respectful when problems arise - together we can resolve issues
to create a culture where Manners Matter
to be witnesses to the mantra “The standard you walk past is the standard you accept…”

OPENING SCHOOL MASS

This was a wonderful way to begin 2020, as together we prayed for God's blessing on our students, staff and families and where we welcomed new students and staff to our school community. It was also an opportunity to induct our new school leaders for 2020. Thank you to those parents and carers who were able to join us for this special occasion.
