Year 12 PE

This week students in Year 12 PE attended an excursion to Victoria University in Footscray to develop a deeper understanding of concepts related to biomechanics and energy systems. The Year 12’s were taken through the facilities and even had to opportunity to visit their ‘Altitude Hotel’.

Students got to experience Exercise Science labs, participate in VO2 max tests, Wingate tests, Skill analysis of their AFL kicks and testing their balance using force plates.

It was a fun and insightful day for all students involved.
