Meet the Student Representative Council (SRC)

This year’s Student Representative Council are a group of passionate, energetic and self-motivated students across each year level, and it has been exciting to see lots of new Year 7 students get involved.

Meet your SRC Leaders:

Gabi ( Year 12) SRC 2020 President:

I am excited for the fun year we have ahead of us! I want the SRC to be a safe space where all students feel that they’re able to express their ideas and opinions as well as being listened to. I want to achieve many things this year one of them being to improve school pride, an inclusive environment for everyone at school, and in and around our local communities. I look forward to organizing lunchtime music performance in the amphitheater and creating a positive culture. I believe being part of the SRC is a perfect opportunity to meet new friends throughout all the year levels as well as taking advantage of the amazing opportunities that BSC has to offer.

Mia Henwood ( Year 10) and I am honoured to be one of your SRC Vice Presidents for 2020:

My main goal for the SRC committee of 2020 is to encourage student voice. BSC has a wonderful bunch of students with so much diversity and so many great ideas and opinions, and I really want students to be able to have their voice. I am excited to work with my fellow SRC committee members and other members of the school to make this happen. I have always been a part of the BSC community since I started here in 2017 and I am excited to be a part of a different community where I will be able to share my ideas and hear the wonderful ideas my peers have.

Georgie  ( Year 10) Vice President for 2020:

This year I aim to achieve a stronger school community and improve students’ school life at BSC. I want to increase school spirit  and make a positive and inclusive environment for all at our school. BSC offers so many amazing opportunities and I want to encourage all students to make the most of these amazing experiences and get involved.
